Data transport services

 

Description

The data transport service assures communication between different points of beneficiary’s Services through telecommunication network, owned and operated by the Center of Special Telecommunications (CST). With the purpose of protected communication, the access points of beneficiary are included into a virtual network, at the level of Layer 2 (VLAN). The beneficiary can further configure their VPN connections to ensure the confidentiality of communications.

Through CST optical fiber network, the beneficiary can also access the available services in the network, for which is authorized (ex. SAPI for commercial banks).

The network is built on optical communications which provides broadband communication, with the architecture of high reliability and redundancy. The network is constantly developing and expanding the coverage.

Beneficiaries

Central Public Authorities (CPA), subordinate institutions across Chisinau and real sector organizations.

Application
CST data transport services are used for: 

-          Providing broadband communications between geographically dispersed offices and locations of the organizations;

-          Ensuring secured communications and broadband capacity (dedicated lines or leased channels) for connections between different data centers (to organize backup center);

-          Ensure communication between different organizations connected to the CTS network or the Internet.

The service includes:

-          Connecting beneficiary offices to the CTS optical fiber network (optical or Ethernet connection);

-          Encrypt and secure traffic with special means;

-          Configuring network access rules for the beneficiary (e.g. between offices, between different organizations);

-          Support for using the service and incident management, as agreed level;

-          Report on service levels.

The orderof service supply

Data transportservice is offered on a contract basis. The service level agreement is attached to the contract. After signing the contract, the customer is connected to the CST network and has access to it according to the rules ofservice supply. 

 

Services support

Additional information, as well as support in using the service can be obtained by calling the Client Support Service. When placing requests for support, it is necessary to indicate the “Data Transport "service code.
